The pulling force has been tested for the purpose of promoting and improving the working climate for ramp operators when handling aircraft chocks. Handling heavy rubber aircraft chocks every day can put a lot of strain on your body. Our lightweight aircraft chocks are easier on the ramp operators body.
According to ramp operators, GSE may in some cases be used to release chocks when a human applied force is not enough. Results from our testing show that Rosens innovative work has shown improvements on this issue and we are very satisfied with the results.
Due to Rosen´s unique tilting of the chock in combination with the innovative handles, only a force of 0,5kN is needed for removing the chock, compared to some competitors’ chocks where a huge pulling force of 3,1 kN have been needed to remove the aircraft chock. With Rosen’s low pulling force, a better working climate is promoted for the ramp operators.
Aircraft chocks specially developed for Airliners, their weight is between 2.0 - 6,2kg. Making it easier on the body for the ramp operators when handling airplane chocks in their everyday workload .
